Turning cricket into a contribution
Thorne Cricket founder Stephen Thorne has supported Runs4Research again in 2026, donating £17.20 to Alzheimer’s Research UK on 1 October.
Through the campaign, his cricket performances helped raise money for dementia research:
• 34 runs at 5p per run: £1.70
• 17 wickets at 50p per wicket: £8.50
• Fielding and not-out extras: £7.00
