About Us
Welcome to Thorne Cricket, your trusted specialists in high-quality cricket services, including cricket bat refurbishment and maintenance. Founded in 2022, Thorne Cricket is dedicated to providing exceptional services and products to cricket enthusiasts and clubs across the UK.
Thorne Cricket emerged from a genuine passion for the game and a hands-on approach to cricket bat care. What began as repairing and refurbishing bats for teammates and local players has evolved into a specialized service aimed at helping cricketers maximize the performance of their equipment.
Our Story
Thorne Cricket, founded in 2022 by Stephen Thorne, is dedicated to providing high-quality cricket services to players at all levels. Born from Stephen's passion for the sport and his attention to craftsmanship, what started as a hobby has blossomed into a successful business. An active member of Chingford Cricket Club, he plays a pivotal role as the Social Media Officer on the club's committee. Chingford Cricket Club boasts five Saturday teams and two Sunday teams, along with Colts teams for every age group. After taking a break for family commitments, Stephen returned to the pitch with Chingford Cricket Club in 2021. His enthusiasm for cricket drives him to help others, offering services like cricket bat refurbishment and expertise in all areas of the game. At Thorne Cricket, we strive to meet the diverse needs of cricketers and clubs, ensuring everyone can enjoy the sport they love.
